The core values held by Wright Christian Academy form the heartbeat of its ministry and provide the cadence by which it accomplishes its work.
Love God – There is nothing more important for a person than to love God with all of his heart, soul, mind, and strength. (Deuteronomy 6:5; Matthew 22:37)
Love Others – There is no greater way to express one’s love for God than by loving others. (Matthew 22:39; Galatians 5:14; I John 4:20,21)
Follow Christ – Our greatest example of how to live in this world is Jesus Christ and every effort must be made to do as He did. (John 14:15; I Corinthians 11:1)
Scriptural Authority – The inerrant and inspired Word of God reveals the Truth. Truth is expressed as a person and that person is Jesus Christ. To know “the Truth” is to be set free. (II Timothy 3:16,17)
Spirit of Inquiry – It is essential that a person experience a growing faith by continually seeking truth. (I Thessalonians 1:3; II Peter 3:18; Philippians 1:25)
Discipleship – The integration of faith is best accomplished by following the pattern of Jesus Christ in developing authentic relationships. These relationships are the basis from which spiritual progress can be made in the life of the disciple. (John 1:35-51)
Parental Authority – Parents are the primary educators of their children and the school exists to assist them in this task. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Proverbs 6:20-23; Ephesians 6:4)
Biblical Integration – It is essential that Biblical principles be integrated into the academic instruction of every class. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Proverbs 1:1-7)
Educational Excellence – The educational experience must open doors for the students so that they are able to fulfill their roles in the work of the Kingdom. (II Timothy 2:15; Colossians 3:23)
